Research Integrity Standards

Expertini Research maintains rigorous standards of research integrity and ethical practice.

Our Standards

Expertini Research follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Singapore Statement on Research Integrity as guidelines for maintaining the integrity of our platform.

Core Principles

  • Honesty: Report research findings accurately and transparently
  • Rigor: Use sound methodology and statistical practices
  • Transparency: Disclose data sources, methods, and conflicts of interest
  • Openness: Share data and methods where possible
  • Accountability: Take responsibility for your research outputs

What We Prohibit

  • Fabrication of data, results, or images
  • Falsification of data or research methodology
  • Plagiarism of text, data, or ideas without attribution
  • Duplicate publication without disclosure
  • Ghost authorship or gift authorship
  • Undisclosed conflicts of interest
  • Manipulation of citations to artificially inflate metrics

Handling Integrity Concerns

When we receive a report of a potential integrity violation, we:

  • Acknowledge receipt within 3 business days
  • Conduct a preliminary assessment of the allegation
  • Contact the corresponding author for their response
  • Make a decision: no action, correction, expression of concern, or retraction
  • Publish our decision on the paper page

Report concerns to research@expertini.com.

Retractions

Retracted papers remain visible on the platform with a prominent retraction notice. We do not delete retracted papers — this is consistent with best practice for research transparency and ensures citations remain traceable.

AI-Generated Content

Authors must disclose the use of AI writing tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) in the preparation of their papers. AI tools may assist with writing but cannot be listed as authors — authorship requires accountability that AI cannot provide.
