Why is this role really critical to us?
• Responsible from overall integrity and quality of the products & solutions in Integration, Order and Product Solutions domain.
• Responsible from target architecture & arhitecture roadmap of domain projects and products
• Accountable for the high level design of assigned projects by acting as the design authority for his/her domain.
• Work closely with Solution Designers to support and provide technical consultancy for the detailed technical design phase.
• Lead feasibility and technical design when necessary to deliver company-wide technical solution with effective management of processes and in line with agreed budgets
How will you spend your time at Vodafone?
• Maintan in product roadmaps and target architecture fort he domain products or services in accordance with business requirements, market needs and trends, changing standards& technologies and other technical and commercial requirements
• Support teams for software selection such as application stack, databases, libraries, frameworks, technology standards etc.
• Support teams for infrastructure selection such as operating systems, hardware, networks, disaster recovery
• Support solution designers in squads for grooming and technical design.
• Support to define development process standarts such as source code control, build process, continous integration, automated testing, and other development process/tools
• Define standarts and guidelines, ensures implementation of the standarts within domain in collaboration with the chapter lead.
• Follow technology trends, researches and learns new technologies/tools/methodologies/best practices and introduce to the teams.
• Ensure alignment and integration with overall Group and TR technology strategies and roadmaps
• Represent the domain in IT Architecture Board
• Participate in RFP/RFQ/RFIs when it’s required in projects and evaluate vendor technical capabilities against business requirements to identify products and/or services
• Reviews and approves vendor design documents when necessary.
• Together with Ops and Infrastructure teams, studies dimensioning for the systems in the domain when necessary based on the traffic forecast provided by the business unit
You are just the person we ve been looking for, if you have:
• Bachelor's degree from Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Mathematics Engineering and other related departments,
• 6+ years of software analysis/design/development/engineering experience with order management and integration applications.
• Know-how and experience with software architecture, design and development technologies such as;
-Java Programming Language.
-PL-SQL, Oracle
-Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming
-Multithreading, Concurrency
-Web Service, SOAP, REST
-XML, J-Son
•Knowledge of Cloud technologies and Micro Service architecture
•Experience on Containerized Applications (Docker, Open Shift etc…)
•Broad knowledge and understanding of technical analysis and design patterns
•In depth understanding of the full software development lifecycle
•Broad knowledge of software technology and development processes, particularly Scrum, Kanban, Test Driven Development, disciplined agile delivery and lean development
•Must possess a complete understanding of all aspects of test automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment concept
•A great working knowledge of standards & technologies.
•Experiences on JUnit or any unit testing tool
•Eager to learn new technologies
•Should have communication skills sufficient to be able to work in a team of international diversity.
•Customer focused, dependable solution oriented, hardworking, team focused
•Ability to a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving
•Result oriented, strongly motivated leader with excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
•Eagerness for quality and continuous improvement of processes
•Strong Presentation skills
•Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
•Very good level of English
