Third-party hardware makers can integrate the Alexa Voice Service (AVS), the brain behind Amazon Echo, into their products. AVS is enabling many new connected devices and exciting consumer use cases in the home, and AVS marketing enables device partners to go to market quickly, effectively, and visibly. The AVS Marketing team is seeking a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to drive device sales/registrations through owned and operated channels, and consumer engagement with AVS devices. This role will manage overall outbound channel strategy, and investment across outbound channels. This role will be responsible for communicating channel performance across various reporting channels, will define our digital events strategy (e.g. Prime Day, Q4 Holiday, etc.), and lead digital events execution across AVS teams/functions, ensuring that we optimize performance within the online sales channel during these peak periods. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done. You will need to make appropriate trade-offs to optimize for quality and time-to-market and clearly communicate goals, milestones, and desired outcomes to cross-functional teams.
