Fluent in writing and speaking English and Korean;

Undergraduate (preferably in Development / Social Sciences or Marketing/Communications) degree; and

At least 5 years of professional experience in Corporate Responsibility or Brand and Communications.

About the role

The Sr. Manager, Social & Community Impact, for South Korea, is a critical member of SCI team, managing a portfolio of partnerships and engaging employees in the community in Korea. This includes implementing community impact strategies focused on increasing children’s physical activity levels, investing in quality coaching and removing barriers to sport and play for the least active kids, especially girls. It is expected that this person will work with a variety of Nike functions and external stakeholders, supporting integration and collaboration as part of community partner events and Nike seasonal campaigns. This role will also be expected to proactively partner with internal teams to deliver a strong employee community engagement strategy. In addition, the Sr. Manager will support various business functions’ initiatives related to diversity and inclusion and sustainability and coordinate reporting results for use in communications. Day-to-day responsibilities include internal and external partner relations grant management, event planning and implementation, reporting and budget management. Finally, the Sr. Manager will help local teams to support for powerful storytelling, internally and externally.

This role will report to the SCI Director for Asia Pacific and the City Planning Director of Nike Korea. The person will partner with staff in Brand Marketing, Communications, Retail, Government & Public Affairs, Human Resources, and Operations.
