We are seeking a Program Manager, Customer Data who will report to the head of Sales Systems u0026 Data within the WWPS Sales Strategy, Operations u0026 Enablement organization. The WWPS Program Manager, Customer Data will help establish a systems architecture and corresponding standards for Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) that promotes simplicity while offering world-class capabilities that scale with business growth. AWS rapid rate of growth necessitates the maturation of enabling tools and data that will scale effectively with the field organizations forecasted size and simultaneously deliver continuous improvements in field productivity. A critical enabler of this endeavor is the data structures that underpin the systems and tools ecosystem. This individual will be the subject matter expert for master data management (MDM) across the Prospecting Cycle (i.e., campaign through to sales accepted lead) and Sales Cycle (i.e., opportunity through customer ordering). They will be responsible for instituting leading practices for Master Data Management (MDM) that span data architecture, data governance, data quality, and data delivery. Within the remit, the Program Manager, Customer Data will guide processes, governance, policies, standards and tools that consistently define and manage all of the critical data within the WWPS organization in a manner that provides a single point of reference. While Customer data will be a clear focal point, the customer data scope includes other key data entities such as Partner and Contact. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, understand deeply what good data structures look like, be well-versed in the modern cloud applications and toolsets that are evolving data science and big data analytics, and appreciate the pursuit of a "trusted single version of the truth " from which to base decisions. This position will work closely with SSD Project Managers, counterparts within the AWS Commercial Operations team, u0026 key business partners within the broader Sales Strategy, Operations u0026 Enablement organization. This individual will oversee the progression of customer data initiatives from ideation and experimentation phases through to business justification and approval and onto implementation and deployment. As a critical business partner to Business Technology u0026 Solutions (BTS), they will be responsible for representing business prioritization of customer data initiatives. This individual will also partner with several key corporate stakeholders, such as Business Development, Finance, u0026 Marketing. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other geographies. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serve as single point of contact for Customer Master Data Management business capabilities, requirements, and issues (includes business entities of Partner and Contact) Design and document the data model for customer-facing/front-office activities Partner with Business Technology u0026 Solutions (BTS) to define, implement, and monitor data standards, governance, and data quality; co-develop vendor relationships for external data services Guide operations teams on data sourcing strategies to optimize business analytics and reporting Shape long-term vision through documented statements of MDM Strategy that also facilitate decision-making, direct investment, deliver enhanced data value, and optimize field productivity Ensure strategic alignment is established between WWPS GTM Strategy and the requisite data enablement to support its successful execution Drive innovation and a spirit of digital transformation through strategically-oriented MDM design, ongoing market research, and facilitation of experiments/pilots
