Job Description SummaryThe Housekeeping Office Coordinator assists with all office duties of the housekeeping department such including handling guest request, electronically updating room inventory, dispatching calls, computer input, filing, tracing, answering telephones, printing reports, and maintaining departmental records/logs.Job DescriptionAssign room attendant the rooms that need to be cleanedAssign supervisor their sectionsAssign houseman their sectionsPrint required housekeeping reports and distribute VIP listsAnswer all telephone calls, assign and follow up on guest requestCompile call logFollow up with dry-cleaning service and guests regarding service and qualityEnsure proper communication with the front office departmentFollow up on all maintenance requestReceive clean uniform and issue inventory to hotel staffFollow up with department and division heads regarding proper par of uniformsBe properly attired in clean uniform, proper footwear and wear nametag at all timesAdditional Job DescriptionAdhere to all housekeeping procedures and house rulesWill receive all guest laundryMaintain inventory of all uniformsCoordinate/communicate with other departmentsAttend department meetingsOther duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
