Job Title: Field Service Representative (FSR)
Security Clearance: Position requires an active, in-scope US Government issued Secret level clearance

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Field Service Representative (FSR) in Iraq. This position supports a satellite communication program that leverages the Iridium satellite constellation to operate a push-to-talk radio.
The Field Service Representative will operate in a deployed area and be responsible for resolving service problems; performing maintenance; and installing, configuring and testing Enhanced Mobile satellite Services (EMSS) communications equipment and services. The FSR will troubleshoot EMSS hardware using test instruments, monitoring and diagnostic tools. The FSR will receive guidance and direction from the Senior FSR and execute daily taskings to resolve issues. The FSR will prepare EMSS devices and related equipment for installation by testing, calibrating, or modifying equipment as required. The FSR will design, fabricate, repair and test cable assemblies and associated EMSS devices IAW established standards and Government-articulated design, fabrication and installation specifications. Place and monitor equipment orders and repair services. The FSR will conduct DTCS training, platform installation, operational field support, and net management to forward deployed operations.
All Trace Systems FSRs are the customers’ first touch point into the system and serve as the most direct and immediate source of feedback for system performance, operational expectation, and overall operational value. Trace Systems is looking for personnel who can resolve service problems, perform maintenance, install, configure, and test DTCS. Candidates must be able to:
+ Troubleshoot DTCS hardware using test instruments and diagnostic tools.
+ Prepare DTCS Radios, TOC and Vehicle equipment for installation by testing, calibrating, or modifying equipment as required (design, fabricate, repair, and test).
+ Build / operate cable assemblies and associated DTCS devices IAW established standards and Government-articulated design, fabrication and installation specifications.
+ Position requires an active, in-scope US Government issued Secret level clearance.
+ Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
+ Must be able to live and operate in austere and rugged environments and travel throughout the region as needed.
+ Adapt to evolving mission requirements.
+ Candidate shall support the execution and evaluation of DTCS and related equipment and technologies during its use in operational theaters. Candidate shall coordinate the introduction of DTCS and related technologies and equipment with various operational commands and/or Agencies and their supporting organizations.
+ Candidate shall facilitate the distribution and deployment of DTCS equipment and related technologies in each operational theater working with DISA, operational commands, and other as necessary.
+ Candidate shall provide support handheld radios and TOC and vehicle kits.
+ Candidate shall provide 24×7 onsite support to operational forces conducting real world operations such as Resolute Support (RS) and Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR).
+ Candidate shall develop formal practices and procedures for the operational fielding of DTCS sponsored technologies. Candidate shall assist the customer with ordering kits and components and installing kits.
+ Candidate shall install provided TOC and Vehicle kits as required.
+ Ability to meet medical requirements to deploy OCONUS.
+ Military Signal and Training Background
+ High School Diploma and at least 2 years equivalent in work experience
