**ADP Labs.** Located in Porto Alegre/Brazil, provides software development and infrastructure for world-wide ADP products, working with large scale initiatives across multiple geographies, including Brazil, United States and India. We are looking for a Developer for technically leading a product development and the team who works on it. The candidate should be highly skilled in multiple technical areas including web application development, back-end services development, integration technologies and platforms. On top of being a great Developer we expect you to:
+ Attention to quality and user-oriented software design, understanding what is most important to users when designing code
+ Be a technical reference for your team;
+ Have already worked on the development of high scalable software;
+ You should be enthusiastic on code and peer reviews making sure the product follow the best practices;
+ As a senior developer you should be energetic and proactive on day to day situations;
+ Design and implement highly scalable, interactive web applications with high usability
+ Design and implement backend application interfaces for data and services
+ Support production software operations, test and debug programs
+ Documentation and unit testing
+ Experience in software development
+ Hands-on experience developing Web applications and backend services
+ Strong understanding of object-oriented design and MVC patterns
+ Good understanding of Agile development and continuous integration
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
**Have strong experience with:**
+ Java 8+ (Strong knowledge of design patterns, transactions OOP concepts and Unit Testing)
+ HTML5 and CSS3
+ Oracle (should have knowledge on stored procedures development)
+ RESTFul API design and implementation
+ Knowledge of build tools and dependency management, such as Maven
+ UNIX/Linux environments
**Have good understanding of:**
+ Apache Kafka
