Amazon is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join the Prime Video World Wide Content organization. Catalog Systems and Operations owns the largest, richest catalog of video content in the world, available to customers as early as possible. We enable Amazon Videos customers all around the world to discover, purchase, and stream any title in any language anywhere. Were looking for a BIE who can help us drive data-driven decision-making across the Prime Video Catalog. You will own defining and managing request prioritization, allocation of work across the team, establishing net new business metrics, and owning the self-service reporting program. You will develop solutions to complex and unsolved business problems characterized by imperfect data. You will guide operational workflows and feature development to help scale and optimize the Prime Video Catalog. Core responsibilities include: Own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable solutions for ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to support analytical and business needs. Manage and deliver multiple complex business requests simultaneously Translate basic business problem statements into analysis requirements. Work with internal customers to define best output based on expressed stakeholder needs. Design and drive experiments, A/B testing, outlier deep dives and form actionable recommendations. Manage the implementation of those recommendations. Build and deliver high quality data architecture and pipelines to support business analysts, product and program managers, and customer reporting needs. Mentor and develop other Business Intelligence Analysts / Engineers. Serve as a senior SME and mentor for Tableau and SQL, including helping teams become more self-sufficient with scripted requests. Interfacing with multiple international stakeholders gathering requirements and developing new datasets in data warehouse The position will be based in Seattle but you will work with a Global team spanning the US, Europe, India, and Japan.
