**Your Role and Responsibilities**
Burn In characterization engineer to be part of a collaborative team that tests and stresses IBM’s leading edge processor chips. Engineers in this rol **e** will analyze test data in order to diagnose burn in-induced failures and find root cause. Characterization of burn-in induced device shifts will also be key for process control, module yield and field performance. Database, coding, and skills in analysis tools for large, complex data sets are important. Your analysis allows direct interaction with many other groups, such as Reliability, Design, Yield Management, and Manufacturing Teams.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
BS in EE/CS required. MS preferred.
BSEE/MS Data Science ideal.
Strong programming skills (C / Python / SQL / Java / scripting)
Understanding of microprocessor architecture and circuit analysis.
Understanding of semiconductor processing and device physics a bonus.
Demonstrated analytical thinking.
Teamwork and communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills through statistical analysis and modeling on large data sets.
Strong programming skills (Python / SQL / Java) with emphasis on code for data analysis and visualization.
