Band 5: £22,400 – £29,200 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trust Liaison Coordinator to support Plymouth NHS Trust. NHS Professionals manages all of the temporary workforce requirements for the trust and we need someone with confidence, drive and enthusiasm who can make a difference.

The leading provider of managed flexible workforce services to the NHS, NHS Professionals is proud to be part of the NHS family, wholly owned by the Department of Health. Our team of highly trained and experienced Client Relationship Managers works with NHS Trusts around the country, helping to make sure that their temporary workforce needs are met. Last year we helped our clients fill more than three million shifts and saved the NHS more than £70 million.

We are looking for candidates with excellent Microsoft Office skills and who are regular uses of Excel and Power Point presentations. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, resilient, proactive in creating or looking for opportunities that will benefit the client and organisation, can adapt in a fast-paced environment and can act as an advocate and advisor.

Occasional travel to other sites m be required within the Cheshire and Merseyside area, therefore the successful candidate must be flexible and hold a full UK driving license and have access to their own vehicle.

Reporting to the Client Relationship Manager you will act as the initial point of contact for our service, providing support across our key sites, as well as demonstrating account management and assisting in troubleshooting local issues between clients and NHS Professionals. You will use your initiative to provide effective liaison and relationship building across a range of operational, recruitment, quality and complaints management processes to deliver a client focused service.

Key Tasks of the role:


Responsible for creating, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholder trust(s) and internal NHS Professionals departments to ensure service issues are identified and resolutions implemented.


Develop knowledge of terms of business and service requirements in order to improve/uphold operational standards. Ensure compliance of all NHS Professionals instructions, procedures and policies.


Support the recruitment and induction of Flexible Workers delivering and presenting at training centres as required.


To participate in the local management of complaints and untoward incidents in accordance with the NHS Professionals policies and procedures and maintaining accurate documentation and record keeping following the meetings, consultations or incident involving clients and flexible workers.


Identify client issues and problems relating to service delivery and facilitate timely and effective resolutions.


Provide necessary cover for the absence of colleagues and the demands of the department.
