Ormco provides orthodontists with brackets, wires, adhesives, and ancillary supplies used through the course of treatment.

Ormco believes the direct contact of its sales force with orthodontists facilitates the identification and verification of market trends and new product opportunities. Ormco works closely with orthodontists to improve existing products and develop new products primarily through its Champion programs in which selected orthodontists assist Ormco in designing, developing and ultimately educating users on new product and technique innovations.

The person will be supporting the development of the Ormco business activities in India. Exploring sales growth opportunities and sales development to our distribution partners as well as cultivating relationships. Develop leads from our distribution channels by creatively finding ways to penetrate the market and generate additional leads.

w Visit assigned customers on a regular basis to promote products, relate new product information and receive feedback on the company’s products and services
w Meet monthly, quarterly, an annual sales quotas
w Organize and manage educational activities including regular Damon user meetings, university training programs and promoting Ormco international events in India
w Visit potential customers to qualify them as sales prospects for the corporation
w Understand and support the corporation’s sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all of the corporation’s customers
w Relate new product ideas and product extensions to marketing management for evaluation
w Follow corporate policies regarding customer entertainment and customer relations
w Review and report complaints received from customers and recommend corrective action to the National Sales Manager
w Collect and report competitive information to Marketing Management
w Prepare periodic reports including:
o weekly call reports
o monthly expense reports
o periodic general reports
o other reports as assigned

*Most Important Qualifications and Competencies:*
w Bachelor in Business, Economics or equivalent
w Up to 4 years sales and general business experience
w Demonstrated ability to relate well with people and work in an unstructured work environment
w Willingness to operate in an international environment
w Fluent in local language and English
w Previous experience within the medical devices, life sciences or pharmaceutical industry
