Should be the subject matter expert and support the team with the research and resolution of complex queries, having processing and market specific knowledge. May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management. The Technical Co-coordinator will report to the US Income Collections Team Leader and assist with enhancing the team knowledge levels and maximizing the effectiveness of the team. Should be highly flexible and adaptable to assume different responsibilities as business environment demands. Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and train to other partners in the team. May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of partners (but not a formal management role). Competencies/Core Skills Strong subject matter expertise in understanding of the securities operation business, with an in-depth knowledge of day-to-day Income process Sound understanding of various teams within Entitlements division and their workflow. In addition, must have knowledge of Market specific nuances which affect Income event work flow Demonstrate strong corporate actions (Income Event) knowledge and perform oversight on daily activities, identify control gaps and mitigate the same Strong organizational, analytical, time management and problem solving skills Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and applying all the bespoke procedures for the new migrated clients Adherence to Standards & Procedures and the promotion of best practices Ability to lead and manage projects and system development changes Demonstrates an excellent understanding of effective risk management Ability to work well under pressure and be able to work as part of a team with minimal supervision Ability to work on own initiatives and act as a back up to run the process in the absence of Team Leader Roles & Responsibilities Develops and maintains specific subject expertise and provide inputs to team Building effective working relationship with Chicago QA Team and other business units to resolve issues and minimize exposure Provides hands on training for new staff and cross training for experienced staff Ensures response/resolution is completed within the established deadlines/SLAs and appropriate priority levels are applied to key client deliverables Provide input towards continuous improvement of procedures to maintain highest possible efficiency and risk mitigation Excellent communication and presentation skills Serves as a resource to clients, partners, and team members for clarity, understanding, and information regarding the events handled by the team Develops process improvements or creating projects that benefit division/department initiatives Recognize & execute process improvement opportunities and make constructive suggestions towards achieving efficiencies & productivity Identify potential risk situations, ensuring appropriate management and escalation Lead & manage projects on the domain in conjunction with Global Teams Identifies trends, concerns and root causes of departmental issues and errors Contributing to the effective enhancement of existing systems by working with stakeholders to translate their needs into application and operational requirements Responsible for ensuring all Procedural updates are incorporated into relevant Income Procedure Documents in conjunction with changes being released into Production Maintains technical knowledge of operations and how operation relates to other operating areas Experience Sustainable performance demonstrated through examples/evidence, the above listed core skills and competencies in the current role over a period of at least 24 months Minimum 48 months in Securities Operations experience, including at least 24 months in the role of a Senior Analyst.
