The job requires efficient hiring with key focus on hiring metrics like TAT , Source Utilization, Requisition Vs Hired, Cost of Hire & Quality of Hire. Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities) 1) Responsible for Workforce Planning for business units a. Identifying critical, unique/niche & mass positions for building a talent pipeline b. Industry/Organization mapping for critical positions 2) Complete recruitment life cycle management a. Validating manpower requisition in consultation with line and business HR b. Effective utilization of internal and external sources of recruitment like (HR Activ, IJPs, consultants, employee referrals, job sites, social media etc.) c. Mapping applicants to the position on the basis of hiring guidelines laid down with due focus on quality d. Responsible for assessment and selection of the right talent by using relevant tools like competency-based interviews, OPQ, Ability tests and the like. e. Ensure that the candidate possesses the required skills set/behavioral competence and can be aligned to the organization culture via HR round of interview f. Salary positioning, offer negotiation & timely closure of positions involving aggressive follow up with head-hunters, line manager & candidates. g. Managing effective and smooth on boarding of new hires in coordination with HR Activ team as per defined process to ensure their acclimatization to the organization for better engagement and stability 3) Maintain key hiring metrics for measuring efficiency of hiring at regular time intervals (TAT , Source Utilization, Requisition Hired, Cost of Hire & Quality of Hire, Gender diversity); analyzing hiring gaps and designing hiring guidelines to get desired quality and cost 4) Periodic analysis and improvement of talent acquisition process 5) Organize and drive effective training for line managers on MRF creation, selection process & usage of ATS Major Challenges Inadequate talent supply to fulfill business requirements Dynamic business scenario compels the incumbent to have thorough understanding of the current and future trends that may impact on the business Business pressure to meet TAT Managing multiple stakeholders internally (line managers, business HR, C&B team) and externally (candidates, consultants, vendors etc.) Decision level Prime Final Decision Making authority, accountable to the Management 1) Source selection 2) First level screening of CVs received from different sources 3) Reject/select candidate in HR interview round 4) Salary/joining bonus negotiation 5) Date of joining/buy out of notice period SharedDecisions reached jointly with peers on a collective basis 1) Hiring guidelines 2) Annual hiring strategy 3) Organization Mapping Contributory Makes a major contribution to a decision or policy judgment reached by others 1) TA KPI 2) TA policy 3) Restructuring Demonstrate (Key competencies) Results orientation Networking and inter-personal skills Consulting, Facilitation and negotiation skills Teamwork and collaboration Enterprising and entrepreneurial Analytical and problems Solving Knowledge of jobs, industries and companies Educational Level Must have MBA in HR from premier B-school Working Experience Must have At least 2-3 years experience in Generalist HR/Core recruitment role About Airtel Bharti Airtel Limited is a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 16 countries across Asia and Africa.
