You will lead a team of highly skilled engineers delivering kernel and embedded software for NVIDIA GPUs. You will be responsible for key components shipped in all NVIDIA GPU products, from super-computers, workstations, notebooks, down to mobile system-on-chip (SOC) devices. What you’ll be doing Responsible for driving SW projects in a large and cross platform codebase, with key focus on development of new GPU architectures. You will work across software and hardware teams to define, plan and deliver on commitments. Lead the team and define project or initiative goals, objectives, and priorities. Establish efficient automated test processes and quality KPIs. Plan and execute on multiple projects with changing priorities and requirements Provide technical leadership and career coaching to the team Contribute to architecture and process improvements What we need to see BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree A lead or management role delivering large scale complex code base from a large team Must be able to drive a number of parallel activities to closure Strong organization and communication skills Hands on technical background; C programming and low-level driver experience Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, dma, etc) Kernel experience with Linux, Android, Chrome, or Windows systems is a must Ways to stand out from the crowd Experience on virtualization platforms Familiarity with physical and virtual memory management techniques Excellent understanding of locking and threading for device drivers Familiarity with kernel level security concepts NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology worlds most desirable employers.
