The Product Support & Logistics Division currently has an opening for a Supply Chain Planning Engineer/Analyst located in our Thiruvallur facility. As a Supply Chain Planning Engineer/Analyst for the Manufacturing Parts Node (MPN) Network, you will participate on teams conducting supply chain analysis for a global network consisting of multiple logistics facilities, 1,100 suppliers, 700 customer, and over 50,000 unique part numbers. This analysis will drive network efficiency though inventory optimization, customer forecast evaluation, Bill of Distribution rationalization, as well as insight development with tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:**
+ Performing work to achieve network supply chain performance targets focused on increased availability, inventory reduction, increased inventory turns and overall lower cost
+ Developing and deploying visualizations of analyses and actively supporting network change management activities as new supply chain processes are deployed
+ Conducting supply chain analysis for inventory optimization, customer forecast, Bill of Distribution, etc.
+ Implementing and communicating changes based on analysis results
+ Performing tactical, hands-on work with other Supply Chain functions, 3rd party providers and business partners to drive supply chain improvements
+ Analyzing value stream supply chain constraints and deploying corrective action
+ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Analytics
+ 3 years of job-related experience in supply chain, inventory management, or data analytics
+ Previous experience analyzing data using statistical language / software (examples: SAS, R, Python, HANA, SQL, TereData)
**Top Candidates Will Also Have:**
+ Must be a strong team player to be effective in deploying supply chain improvements as part of a team
+ Must have excellent analytical/problem solving abilities, well developed oral and written communications skills, a strong customer focus, and ability to work effectively with a diverse team
+ APICS, CPIM, or CSPC National Certification
+ 6 Sigma project experience
+ Experience with Visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
+ Experienced in MAMM, Glovia, CBS, or other supply chain planning system
