Skill: automation framework , healthcare , test strategy , defect management , alm , software testing , testing , agile , metrics; Exp: 12-15 years; Role Summary As Staff Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for test strategy, planning, architecture of framework, automation and verification cycles of software solutions. In this role, you will be part of Digital group focusing on advanced technology developments for Analytics, Edge Solutions and Tele health solutions for Clinical Care Solutions of GE Healthcare. Essential Responsibilities Your Day at GE Collaborate with product owner and software architects to understand requirements and user stories Come up with the test strategy and architecture for automation of functional and non-functional requirements testing. Own and drive technical design reviews in testing domain Part of the agile scrum team, participate in the BDD automation of user stories, in sprint software testing, quality metrics adherence. Prepare verification plan, execution tracker, regression analysis, verification DHF for the NPIs Ensure test coverage and automation code quality and maintainability Develops new procedures and drives continual improvement of the testing process at the team level through participation in Test Workgroup and Community of Practice. Accountable for adherence to QMS procedures and deliverable, defect leakage targets and process improvements in collaboration. Coach and mentor junior test engineers Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in software testing A minimum of 5 years of experience in automation framework design and implementation for large scale systems. Proficient in functioning in an Agile team Desired Characteristics Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity Ability to work with global teams, including time-zone flexibility Working knowledge in configuration management and defect management tools (ALM/Rally/ClearQuest) Experience in Agile development practices Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Scrum.
