KNOWLEDGE SUPPORT SERVICES TEAM The Knowledge Support Services (KSS) TeamIndia CKA is a new, specialized group within the Knowledge Practice Area that will work closely with BCG Practice Areas and Topic Teams to locate, extract and sanitize targeted content from across BCG repositories. The extracted content will then be curated into knowledge products and other materials. The KSS team will collaborate with Topic Teams to align content retrieval efforts with topic-specific knowledge needs. The ultimate goal of KSS is to improve BCG’s intellectual property base (with a focus on data, benchmarks, analytical information, methodologies, frameworks, etc), provide leverage to knowledge content creators, and improve operations and productivity by reducing duplicate work. The first phase of the KSS’ operations will start with a focus on two topic areas, and will then be grown and its services expanded based on proven capabilities and success. SPECIALIST, KNOWLEDGE SUPPORT SERVICES IDEAL PROFILE We are seeking strong candidates with experience to fill a KSS position within BCG’s Knowledge Practice Area, with a good understanding of Financial Institutions (FI) and ideally knowledge of one or more of their sub-sectors (Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Transaction Banking and Asset and Wealth management), including vocabulary and abbreviations. This professional will be an integral part of the team, and will help improve BCG’s knowledge base. The primary focus will be general Knowledge Curation activities, such as identifying, extracting and sanitizing meaningful content across various document repositories and sharing it back with the broader BCG community. Working closely with junior and senior team members, the ideal candidate will successfully manage multiple projects while providing exceptional customer service to Topic, Case and Practice Areas teams. They will thrive in a learning-rich, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment that is customer-focused. KSS will also participate in basic coaching and mentoring of more junior team members. CountryIndia City/Town New Delhi Employee TypeRegular Job Type Full time Job Responsibilities Under general supervision, executes Knowledge Curation activities Reviews project objectives with Content Manager and proactively suggests most appropriate and timely approach; raises and helps resolve process related issues as they arise Based on agreed upon approach and using mining parameters, independently and efficiently mines through specified document and extracts relevant materials which fill the content gaps. Reviews and evaluates extracted relevant materials; codifies, storyboards and creates relevant packages and IP while working closely with the Content Manager. In accordance with BCG sanitization policy, conducts basic sanitization services. Coordinates with the Content Manager to verify the viability of created packages and incorporates the feedback and suggestion Organizes and summarizes sanitized materials into appropriate and timely output and provides to Content Manager for quality review for delivery to topic team Publishes final output on Knowledge-related portals Generate regular metrics and dashboard to apprise the key stakeholders and streamline the process efficiency and effectiveness Provides basic coaching and peer review Assists fellow colleagues as requested; begins to coach and conduct peer quality review for junior KSS Basic Job Requirements University degree with demonstrated high academic achievement, ideally with a major in Finance 2-4 years of general knowledge/content management and/or research experience (e.g., within a professional services firm, academia, government, etc.) with a focus on Financial Institutions Good understanding of Financial Institutions (FI) and ideally knowledge of one or more of their sub-sectors (Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Transaction Banking and Asset and Wealth management), including vocabulary and abbreviations.
