Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for installation and configuration of IBM MQ 8 and fixpacks on Linux environments and on HA clusters. Responsible for Implementing and supporting the IBM MQ infrastructure Monitoring and maintaining MQ objects such as Queue Managers, Queues, channels and listeners Troubleshooting on IBM MQ version 8, Backup and Recovery and upgrades of MQ objects. Involve in Disaster Recovery Activity Responsible for providing Application level security Prompt in troubleshooting Application issues with MQ Handling MQ security exits, Channel authentication Provides on-call support 24*7 and working in shifts Required Skills Very good scripting (Shell, Perl) knowledge for automation Experience in Administration of IBM MQ 7 and 8 versions Experience in Installation, Configuration and administration of WebSphere MQ on Linux Good knowledge on MQ clustering, Veritas Clusters, MQ Backup and Recovery Strong knowledge on MQ securities like SSL and OAM Experience in messaging tools like q-tool, q-load Good to have knowledge on MQ on Cloud Other Open source Messaging products MQ IPT Sabre Corporation is the leading technology provider to the global travel industry.
