You will also provide subject matter expertise to assist with the development, implementation, and compliance with BCGs Global Physical Security & Safety Programs. Country United Kingdom City/Town London Employee Type Regular Job Type Full time Job Responsibilities Information, analysis, and reporting Compile data and information from multiple internal & external sources to assist with developing frameworks, policies, and procedures relating to BCGs global safety & security programs. Engage providers and external partners to enable the development of timely and accurate security-related intelligence products; maintain situational awareness and understanding of significant global security/safety related incidents and issues which could impact BCGs global operations. Develop and maintain effective database(s) and IT-based tools for the receipt, processing and tracking of security-related requests, waivers & exceptions, facility data, ongoing initiatives, etc.; support SSE management with the production of periodic progress and update reports based on accurate and current data. As requested by SSE management, produce accurate and professional analytical reports (including in-depth data analysis), to help guide significant business decision making. Physical security Assist SSE management with benchmarking and internal assessment of BCGs physical security program; develop and maintain knowledge on current international best practice regarding physical, technical, and procedural security measures through liaison with internal and external partners. Support SSE management in the identification and delivery of suitable risk-based countermeasures (physical, technical, procedural) to help ensure the safety and security of BCG personnel, assets, and information world-wide. Assist with review and validation of site specific security plans and procedures; support SSE management through the review of current and/or future physical & technical security initiatives. Assist SSE management with coordinating and conducting security risk and site vulnerability assessments, ensuring identified gaps and recommended countermeasures are recorded, tracked, and disseminated as required. Security awareness training Support the development of global and location-specific security awareness training initiatives, presentations, and materials; develop and maintain effective IT-based tools for tracking and ensuring compliance with BCGs security awareness training programs. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate the effective coordination of BCGs online and in-person security & safety training initiatives i.e. IT, HR, regional management teams, etc. Networking and relationships Develop and maintain a strong regional network of government and private sector security contacts; actively attend communities of practice (i.e. OSAC) to enable benchmarking, knowledge of best-practice, and strong regional situational awareness. Basic Job Requirements Bachelor Degree from an accredited College or University plus 5 years of experience in preventive measures taken to mitigate hostile actions against civilian personnel, resources, facilities, and critical information. Includes protection from natural disasters such as fires, floods, hurricanes, etc. OR 10 years experience in an analyst/analytical role within Force Protection (military, law enforcement) or Corporate Security without a degree; if civilian experience is being used, the Candidate shall provide documented training and certification from a globally recognized provider. Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, including senior leadership. International, restrictive and/or hostile environment operations experience. Experience in leading or assisting with Vulnerability, Risk, Criticality and Threat Probability Assessments of commercial, government or military facilities. First-class IT skills. Extensive experience with use software packages such as Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, Internet, Excel, Word and Power Point, as well as relevant bespoke database systems.
