The position shall be responsible for driving SAP implementations (S4 HANA, MDG, BW, BPC, IBP etc.) that will improve business and support future business needs. The position is not only responsible to ensure timely and accurate completion of the projects but also to ensure the business benefits are delivered by driving adoption and monitoring business KPIs KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Timely implementation of SAP modules Minimal Customization of the SAP system SAP implementation / up-gradation within budget Stakeholder management Vendor Management High user adoption through effective change management Monitor business KPIs to evaluate implementation effectiveness KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Planning and Budgeting Prepare the scope & business case for implementation of SAP modules as per business requirements, in consultation with the CIO Translate business priorities and key initiatives into technology plans and develop SAP as a Business Transformation portfolio Vendor evaluation and management Project Management Overall project owner, and responsible for the strategy and implementation of projects Develop & manage the project plan with the vendor Develop detailed project governance plan, including identification of key project stakeholders Manage Project Risks, Issues, Quality, Schedule and cost Ensure the activities leading to successful project delivery is coordinated across all stakeholders and teams. Generate Project reports with key metrics including Forecast to completion, Profitability and quality indices Make presentations to project leadership team including steering committee and exec level meetings related to the project Develop project deployment strategy, cutover strategy and plan with inputs from the project team Plan for project resources at detailed level – both for the SI and the client side with inputs from the team Implementation and Usage Drive adoption in the organization and monitor the usage across the organization to ensure effectiveness of the system Direct the functional leads for all modules in effectively maintaining and updating systems for end users Partner with HR for building SAP usage capability in the organization by way of providing regular SAP training across the organization Organize and conduct training sessions for the users on the ERP Modules and updation when required Vendor Management Lead the process of selection of vendors and participate in various technical negotiations with the vendor Ensure regular payment to the vendors in liaison with the Finance team Ensure regular governance with internal stakeholders and vendor leadership to address issues, risks, escalations etc. Experience 12 years of Project Management experience, predominantly on SAP enabled business transformation engagements Has project managed and delivered 1 full lifecycle S/4 HANA project Has a good understanding of the SAP HANA roadmap Has sound understanding and has hands-on implementation experience on at least one SAP module in preferably S/4 HANA i.e. FICO, Logistics etc. Hands on Project Planning skills PMP/PRINCE2 certifications Experience with a manufacturing company is desirable Education and Experience Required Education Postgraduate BE preferably computer engg or MCA Post Graduate Diploma Certification in SAP (ERP) Preferred Experience 12 years of relevant work experience
