Our Product is an award-winning treasury management system that helps organizations throughout the world manage their cash, manage their debt and investments, and assess and manage various types of risk, such as currency and interest rate risk. It also provides support for multiple languages, and helps to promote connectivity within complex treasury departments. Primary responsibilities Develop and support existing C#, MVC, Windows Services, Console, Windows Applications and ASP.Net solutions. Work on upgrade projects tasks to bring the legacy custom solutions to latest Quantum compatible version. In the context of the upgrades, work with the PS consultant and developers (in other geographies) to understand clients business, their business drivers to implement, functional scope, and requirements of the current upgrade to upgrade custom solutions to latest Quantum compatible version. Reconfigure the customer specific functionality on upgraded version as seen fit for the project and aligned with the product offerings. Work on configurations of solutions and provide support for SIT/UAT/PROD issues Work closely with the Developers in your team for better understanding of the technical aspects of Quantum configuration and tools and custom solutions offerings. Write specifications and maintain documentation for technical and business solutions. Write and modify software to meet specified functional and technical requirements. Conform to development processes, work instructions and standards. Interact with Development Manager of FIS AvantGard ensuring a common high standard is maintained. Fluent English (written & spoken) mandatory. Participate in technical/functional requirements walk-through, release planning and status meetings. Meeting participants are based in locations of multiple time zones. Promote a culture of excellence and quality and seek continuous improvement. Produce development estimates and monitor actual effort against estimates. Provide prompt escalation of functional, technical and project issues to Management. Remain up to date with functional and technical changes within the product. Remain up to date with new technologies and practices relevant to the organization. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an IT-related discipline or the equivalent of education and experience. 4 to 5 years of experience in software development. Strong in analytical, debugging, design and problem solving skills is necessary. Experience with .Net, C#, Windows Services, Windows Forms, Console Applications, MVC 4/5, APS.Net essential. Experience in Banking and Finance Sectors. Experience with Object Oriented Programming and Design, Crystal Reports (preferred). Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Procedures, Triggers, Views. Oracle is a plus. Experience with scripting languages such as VB, Iron Python, PowerShell is a plus. Good communication skills are essential. Self-motivated, strong initiative, flexible and good time management skills. Ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives within assigned time. Enthusiastic and good team player. Willing to work in/build an Agile environment. Interest for the functional aspect of the role. Client oriented.
