Successful candidate for this position will join a hardware design team in Hyderabad developing mobile digital HW and wireless devices utilizing Qualcomm MSMs, RFICs, PMICs, WLAN, BT and 3rd party NFC solutions for in-house design verification, software/firmware development, and customer reference designs. Responsibilities include understanding thoroughly the NFC solution , different modes of operation (like reader, writer etc), understanding of serial ROM interfacing ,antenna design/tuning and its interfacing with Qualcomm chipsets. Successful candidate will represent NFC HW/SW teams in larger forums like core meetings, workshops and present status on NFC HW developments, track changes to NFC HW over a period of time & build the mobile HW platform with right NFC HW and ensure successful commercialization of NFC solution on Qualcomm HW platforms. Successful candidate will be a sort of SPOC for all NFC HW related issues on Qualcomm internal HW platforms.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
* 2+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
candidates should have 4 to 7 years of hands on experience in High Speed board/ system designs and testing for NFC, Bluetooth and other mobile standard interfaces such as SPI, I2C, power grid, GPIOs etc. Strong communication & presentation skills and ability to present status in large core meetings is a must. Additional desired skills include: knowledge of NFC, BT antenna design and tuning, layout of high speed board designs for mobile platforms. Aspiring candidate should have hands on experience in schematics, BOM ( agile ), layout and testing. NFC & BT antenna tuning experience is a plus.
