Skill: sap fi , accounting , legal , asset accounting , fico , fi , product costing , general ledger , profit , senior executive , erp , sap , excel , payment processing , finance; Exp: 6-9 years; Location New Delhi, HR, IN Company Boston Scientific Purpose Statement Boston Scientific is looking for an experienced Senior SAP consultant to support Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) projects within an SAP Center of Excellence at the IS India Center. This person will be the primary technical owner, which includes development, enhancement, documentation, and support of FI/CO SAP projects. In addition, the person will analyze, design, document, test and deliver business systems and Information System process solutions to meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Work closely with the project team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution May lead multiple project activities simultaneously, working with internal and external cross-functional groups Resolve technical issues including diagnosis of problem, recommendations for workarounds and defect correction Analyze, design, construct, test, and implement system or application enhancements Create and maintain all required technical documentation per IS methodology and processes Demonstrate technical leadership by staying current on new technologies Maintain collaborative working relationship with IS services (database, data center, servers, desktop, networking, security) Understand customers business implications and incorporate understanding into technical and process improvement recommendations Lead or support roll-out and implementation of new business applications and functionality specifically within the SAP FI/CO space Lead project work stream activities, working with internal and external cross-functional groups Adhere to project plans, tasks, and deliverables; identify dependencies and resource requirements Appropriately communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage timelines and action items Work closely with the SAP Run Team in the prioritization, testing, and deployment of system change requests and/or providing support Participate in the SAP on-call dispatcher duties Management Responsibilities Collaboratively perform across different work work groups and divisions towards the achievement of organizational goals Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements) Qualifications Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field 6 years experience with SAP modules, primarily Finance (FI and CO) with some overlap in Supply (MM, PP and QM) and Demand (SD) 2-3 full life cycle implementations of FI and CO 2 years experience managing small to medium system development projects Working knowledge of SAP IMG Familiar with SAP programs/transactions to create sales orders, purchase orders, transfer orders, deliveries and billing documents preferred Experience configuring SAP company codes Strong grasp of configuration around Special Purpose Ledger, General Ledger, Cost Element ,Cost center, and Profit center accounting Payment processing, Cash Application, Asset accounting, product costing Previous experience as a leading member of a large enterprise SAP development team with assignments in all phases of the software lifecycle Proven ability to quickly troubleshoot issues in SAP program/transactions using a sound and logical approach to deliver a valid solution Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-starter with strong, proactive work ethic Exceptional organizational & time management skills Demonstrated ability to work with people in other areas across the enterprise to accomplish desired outcomes Detailed knowledge of MS Excel’s import, export and macro functions UNIX knowledge and skills for scripting, maintenance and support of FTP jobs Working knowledge of SAP Job Creation and Selection transactions preferred Experience with Medical Device or Life Sciences beneficial Soft Skills Excellent interpersonal communication skills including oral, written, and listening skills with a track record of communicating complex concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff, including at senior executive levels A positive attitude, innovative and creative thinker.
