To qualify for this role, you need to have knowledge of the front to back life-cycle for the business area along with core investment banking functions applicable to projects. What the Business does This role is based in the Natwest Markets technology team at Shared Services reporting to the Development Manager. Shared Services encompasses the development and support of applications for Data exchange and Data services. The area deals in giving offerings like golden source for trade data, market data and reference data to the CIB business through its services; and is a key division entailing the impact from FO systems to settlement systems Your Responsibilities As a Senior Business Analyst, Associate, your key responsibilities will be Gather requirements, create functional specification by liaising between users and technical teams to analyze requirements, design solutions and manage the development and deployment of resulting projects Ensure accurate conversion of the functional specifications into technical design and be the subject matter expert on the requirements, develop functional change request throughout the project life-cycle, as new requirements or requirement gaps are discovered Prepare UAT scenarios, provide input into test scripts preparation and also provide guidance to end users through the same process, develop user training guides by combining understanding on the functional specification and knowledge of business usage of the product Ensure Business Analysis and related deliveries are made as per agreed time and cost (within /- 5 PERCENT of target), support continuous improvement Understand organizational / business goals; apply industry wide standard analysis methodologies / techniques and processes for efficient delivery Meet and improve process standards – be aware of and follow C&IB BA best practices and processes Ensure requirements are prioritised and support business goals, standards, strategic themes and external factors such as relevant legislation. Translate between technology and business requirements and ensuring they meet the required quality to effectively guide further work The Skills youll need 6-8 years of business analysis experience in banking operations University degree level (or MBA with Finance) qualifications are expected Good knowledge of technical architecture and functionality of applications used to support the business, a strong analytical and logical approach to systems design and development Business Analysis planning and monitoring Ability to assess the complexity of the brief, identify stakeholders, identify and manage risks and issues, and develop an appropriate approach and work plan that incorporates success criteria and key performance indicators Enterprise Analysis Ability to identify business needs and opportunities for improvement via detailed analysis and understanding of overall business and systems structure, op models, strategy, flows, processes, and inter-relationships Requirements Gathering and Analysis Through usage of techniques such as process modeling, use cases, obtain, capture, validate and document business requirements to ensure completeness, relevance, and accura Why RBS?
