Skill: communication , RF Engineer; Exp: 8-11 years; RF Engineer Job Description RF Engineers are responsible for RF topology selection and design, RF system analysis, RF system block characterization and specification. In addition, RF engineers operate radio frequency test equipment and are responsible for the design of RF circuits per specifications, simulations and analysis of RF circuits, understanding of analog circuits, and characterization of board for chip layout requirements. Qualifications B.Tech in Electronics and communication, at least 8 years relevant experience in RF design and testing of RF systems such as cellular modems, WiFi, BT and GPS. Strong academic background with emphasis on wireless communication, information theory and digital modulation. Exposure to simulation tools and communication test equipment such as spectrum analysers, network analysers and base station simulators is a must. Experience in developing DSP- digital signal processing algorithms and topologies within RF-Radio Frequency transceiver IC-Integrated Circuits will be an added advantage.
