Description Position Purpose & Summary Regional Technical Manager has the responsibility of providing technical support to poultry customers and sales team, through exceuting the Cargills value added nutritional solutions for business development, retention of customers and continued growth. Add value to the poultry farmers / nutritionists and feed millers by having access to world class nutritional solutions Principal Accountabilities Technical Support Responsible for achieving the sale budgets through technical supporting the sales team and customers Executing, implementation and monitoring of Cargills value added nutritional solutions at customer level in coordination with the respective sales team Identification of potential customers / key accounts and their compelling nutritional needs and design of suitable nutritional solutions to add value to their business Supporting the small and medium customers in the region with the suitable feed formulations as needed for improving the performance and enabling to reduce the cost of production Building strong relations with the customers nutritionists Providing the regular updates on the recent developments in poultry nutrition Periodical analysis and assessment of the benefits of the nutritional services / solutions and business development from potential customers Visiting poultry farms as per the needs of the customers and providing necessary nutritional / technical solutions for further improvement of performance 60 PERCENT Training and Technical Meetings Periodically organizing the training sessions to regions sales teams for improving their technical knowledge in line with the recent trends/developments in the industry Organising Farmers Meetings in coordination and discussion with the sales managers on new developments in nutrition, on Cargills new concepts / nutritional solutions Supporting the sales team in proper implementation of marketing campaigns in coordination with the maketing team Pro-actively provide inputs to marketing team for strengthening the portfolios of products and services 15 PERCENT Trials Taking ownership in conducting the various field trials on new concepts/products for generation of data marketing team. Initiating trials of nutritional solutions / products with key accounts in coordination with the sales team for retention, business development and continued growth 15 PERCENT Self Development Constantly strive toward continuing professional growth. Being proactive to improve technical knowledge, managerial skills, business skills, and market knowledge. Participation in the trainings to learn and build skills and deploy the same for self improvement and business growth 10 PERCENT Qualifications Required Qualifications M.V.Sc degree (or equivalent experience) in animal or poultry nutrition At least 2-3 years of experience in the field of poultry nutrition Sound Technical Knowledge in Poultry Nutrition, Communication Skills,persuading skills
