The function manages all important HR, Career and Learning & Development processes for our staff, currently hosted in 55 offices around the globe. The GSB People Management team works collaboratively with global, regional and local management teams. POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the India HR Director, the Bangalore Regional HR Manager will provide generalist HR expertise and support across the employee lifecycle in the Bangalore office. In close cooperation with the People Management team, Knowledge & Analytics and business leaders, as well as other key stakeholders in the region, this role will play thought partner on generalist HR matters such as policies & processes, culture & affiliation, onboarding, compensation, exit interviews etc. We are looking for candidates with broad-based HR experience. Candidates must be able to perform in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, ambiguous, client-oriented environment. CountryIndia City/Town Bangalore Employee TypeRegular Job Type Full time Job Responsibilities General HR Manages and coordinates local HR processes, e.g. employment contracts (capacity changes, new contracts, LoAs) aligned with local labor law Acts as a local point of contact in Bangalore for GSB transfers, supports Mobility program Provides expert knowledge on local policies and procedures Conducts exit interviews & manages terminations (where needed) and draws conclusions Leads and owns Employee Engagement activities Conducts regular audits and ensures compliance with local labor laws Compensation Provides local support on compensation ranges design per cohort/group In collaboration with the India HR Director, determines new hire offers and coordinates the offer process Conducts regular benchmarks to stay up-to-date on local market changes Supports year-end bonus & compensation review process according to local standards (e.g. bonus letters,promotion adjustments) Learning /Training Works with L&D Manager regarding local training and development needs and events in Bangalore Supports GSB onboarding plan for new hires based in Bangalore Supports (where appropriate) organization of global GSB training program on local/regional level Other Mentoring junior team members/colleagues Works on global projects and contributes as active member to GSB initiatives Job Responsibilities Continued Basic Job Requirements Completed university degree/MBA with ~ 10 years of professional HR experience Ability to work effectively in a global environment with people at all organizational levels and to effectively manage communication and interactions at senior level of the organization Excellent communication skills in English Persuasiveness, assertiveness and results-orientation Initiative and creativity Absolute integrity and discretion A sharp analytical mind Flexibility, reliability and the ability to work under pressure Decision-making and team building skills Organizational talent Key Competencies Additional Information Company Information The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is a global management consulting firm and the worlds leading advisor on business strategy.
