Responsibilities & Deliverables:

+ Design and develop business test scenarios cases based on Requirements Document/ Functional Specification/Design documents/Use Case/User Stories.

+ Convert customer business processes to detailed workflows

+ Experience in testing integrated solutions

+ Identify gaps in our test scenarios and document the gaps.

+ Review Business Requirements / User stories / Functional Specification documents

+ Review and provide feedback during User Story review/walkthrough meeting with Development / BA / QA.

+ Document detailed test cases and test data for testing the functional change

+ Prepare Test data and Plan and execute the test as per project timelines.

+ Report detailed defects with all analysis.

+ Work with development for defect recreation and fix re-testing.

+ Help in continuously improving test cases and Regression test coverage

+ Defect logging and follow up to its closure

+ Highlight risks and Business Impact of failure reported during testing

+ Provide feedback on the quality of the project/product release by analysing the failures.

+ Contribute in Identifying and automating test scenarios.

Required Skills and abilities

+ Banking domain experience is preferred

+ Hands on experience with tools like HP Quality centre, JIRA would be added advantage

+ Understanding of test areas such as functional, system testing etc.

+ Exposure to SQL.

Exposure to WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere MQ.
