Summary:
Sales
Program Manager would devise and run online marketing campaigns for Oracle
Linux, Oracle VM (OLOVM) and VBox. One will be working under BDC, regional
marketing lead and sales head, overseeing campaigns in a variety of formats.
These can be webcast/podcast/call campaigns/email campaigns/social media. Sales Program Manager would work
with Oracle’s sales team to identify pipeline need and then work with mapped
and approved external agencies to devise, implement and execute campaigns and
measure and report on their effectiveness.
Job Description
· Define
and determine pipeline need
· Develop
integrated online marketing campaigns based on inputs received from the mapped
sales head and marketing head with the aim of acquiring green field customers
and retaining existing customers.
These
campaigns can be digital, direct mail, social media, or any other
approved source
High focus
should be on social media promotion of Oracle Linux & Oracle VM
· Manage
the implementation, execution, tracking and measurement of OLOVM + VBOX
marketing campaigns.
· Manage
and supervise the work of internal and Oracle approved external agencies, such
as copy writers, designers, and printers
· Plan
and work within a pre-approved budget and call out any overspend.
· Ideate,
write, edit and proofread copy for promotional materials within marketing
campaigns and also acquire all desired business & legal approvals before
publishing the same.
· Safeguard
Oracle’s brand and ensure that the identity is adhered to in campaigns and in
all communication channels
· Report
campaign results, detailed analysis and evaluation of all key performance
indicators
· Maintain
regular measurement of the ROI of executed campaigns
· Oversee
the landing page/sales kit/website and campaign assets. Make necessary changes
to align to the corporate message
· Work
with Regional Sales Head to translate webcast/podcast and assets into regional
language as when required
· Keep
up-to-date of current trends in marketing in the Private Cloud and
Infrastructure world
Key skills
· Outstanding
writing skills are a pre-requisite as you will frequently have to write copy
and devise various content for marketing promotions. Sales Program Manager’s also need outstanding speaking skills.
· As
a Sales
Program Managers you need numerical skills
to obtain data and use it to target designated groups, as well as analyze the
success or failure of already executed campaigns. Intelligence out of data is
of prime importance
· As
a Sales
Program Manager you’ll need skills to manage
deadlines. You will be working under pressure to deliver high quality campaigns
on time.
