He or She will work with Global Software Services Director to build product services strategy and will be responsible of service operations out of India. Develop effective engagement model with Product Managers and other stakeholders, and establish a robust services leveraging the industry proven processes customized to BCG needs. This role will be focusing on building capabilities and creating an efficient, scalable and cost effective service operations to support Product BU products. This individual will work closely with the Global Software Services Director, Product BU Leadership Team and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with new strategies, operating models and BCG’s overall business needs. We are looking for candidates with relevant professional experience and a proven track record ideally including analytics/proprietary data & tools (particularly benchmarks), consulting, and line management. CountryIndia City/Town New Delhi Employee TypeRegular Job Type Full time Travel RequiredYes Job Responsibilities The Software Services Senior Manager is responsible for service operational excellence across the Product BU and owing up services delivery from India location along with providing direct line management for rapidly growing t e a m Key objectives and activities include Operations excellence and management Work closely with the leadership team and Global Software Services Director in implementing an efficient and forward looking product service operations model & processes, and ensure alignment with overall product stakeholders and Product BU strategy Design, implement and oversee effective operating processes within the India Product Services team, with an objective on delivering high quality, cost-effective services Network with product owners and managers to proactively manage capacity requirement for running service operations smoothing Conduct resource demand planning, training of resources on generic and product specific skills. Oversee flexible pool of resources and train and engage them in area of demand. Ensuring effective utilization of flexible pool. Monitor service execution KPI at L1 , L2 , L3 level and provide meaningful reporting/dashboards Define and report on KPIs and measures performance for software service execution and people Team Management and people development Hire and manage team members with responsibility for their professional development; apprentice other resources (evaluations, goal setting, training, and coaching) Contribute in broader people agenda of India Product BU unit and responsible for handling and resolving people related challenge in the team Coach the team members to create high performing coherent teams Support resource deployment and people investments (including recruiting & staffing plan Devise people initiatives and ensure on the ground implementation of the same Work with global Product leaders, partners and clients In owned areas, evaluates needs, and determines effective approach based on business case, need to scale up and costs. Shares expertise with Product Teams on building and running Service Operations Supports leadership efforts to promote Product BU to direct customers and to case teams Defines and manages relevant external partnerships Basic Job Requirements Education and experience Bachelors or Masters Degree in Information Technology, MBA an added advantage.
