Overall purpose of role HR Services-Screening To ensure employee screening formalities are completed for all new joiners as per the Screening SOP. To report cases going beyond TAT to Officer- HR (Screening) Escalating issued if required to Assistant Manager- HR / Manager- HR Operations and Compliance. To ensure that all Screening cases are closed within agreed SLA Process cases in Taleo e-Recruitment Application. To participate in audits as an when required HR Services-On-Boarding Maintaining an accurate database regarding any/all HR reports. Ensuring that entries into standard trackers / ERP systems such Taleo and SAP is completed on time. Filing of important documents related to employees in respective employee files and managing the respective trackers.. Participating in File Audits or any other audits as required. Assist in other HR Ops work which is assigned from time to time To ensure that bank account opening formalities happen within time and follow up with the banker on activation of salary accounts for all new joiners HR Services-SAP Management To ensure employee Ids are generated in SAP for all the new joiners To process Employee Exit Formalities in line with the exit process Secondary Payroll Resource Database maintenance and updates in SAP Escalating issued if required to Assistant Manager- HR / Manager- HR Operations and Compliance HR Services-Others To ensure that bank account opening formalities happen within time and follow up with the banker on activation of salary accounts for all new joiners. To manage FBP process by explaining the various components to the eligible employees through regular sessions, support them with the declaration and claim process. To provide the payroll vendor the FBP claim related data on a monthly basis within TAT. Resolving payroll queries and ensuring accuracy of timelines while providing payroll inputs. Coordinating for medi-claim related reimbursements and handling medi-claim query. Coordinating for filing of statutory returns, collation of documents required for the same and handling queries. Assist in design and development of policy documents. General Analytics Deliver regular and insightful dashboards, reports , presentation and tools designed to educate, inform and influence the business decisions Management of data and reports obtained through various applications, functions, and sources. Conduct analyses of varying complexities pertaining to employee data , demographics, compensation et al, with emphasis on identifying trends, dependencies, variables that influence overall HR Take ownership and responsibility for identifying opportunities to improve Management Information quality Design and implement of monitoring mechanisms, to help track operational performance. Spot and maximize value added reporting metrics, through proactive research into any variances in operational performance and identify underlying causes. Provide analytical support within the specific Functional Business Units on various metrics and targets. Present clear, concise, effective communication of observations and recommendations in a logical, compelling and influential manner, which will ensure stakeholder understands and can action. Communicate and report on the plans and progress towards key metrics and targets on a regular basis to management and stakeholders, Cluster and Group audiences as required. Coordinate the development and implementation of analytical tools and pay round spreadsheet solutions that improve the year end Pay round experience Manage and maintain confidentiality of critical and sensitive information Provide value-driven information to various departments whenever needed Performing random audits to ensure error free record capturing and reporting HR IT / Automation Manage the implementation of SAP Core Plus including design, execution, training and communication. Ensure smooth transition to HR automation modules from in house applications.. Implementations such as PD online etc. as per HR IT roadmaps defined. Risk and Control Objective Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards. Key Accountabilities and Skills required This section should include Key specific accountabilities. HR Operations-Screening To ensure employee screening formalities are completed for all new joiners as per the Screening SOP. To ensure that all Screening cases are closed within agreed SLA To participate in audits as an when required HR Operations-On-Boarding Maintaining an accurate database regarding any/all HR reports. Filing of important documents related to employees in respective employee files and managing the respective trackers. Participating in File Audits or any other audits as required. Conducting Induction for all new joiners Ensuring 100 PERCENT coverage. To ensure that bank account opening formalities happen within time and follow up with the banker on activation of salary accounts for all new joiners Stakeholder management and leadership. Present clear, concise, effective communication of observations and recommendations in a logical, compelling and influential manner, which will ensure stakeholder understands and can action. Communicate and report on the plans and progress towards key metrics and targets on a regular basis to management and stakeholders, Cluster and Group audiences as required. Decision making and problem solving.
