You will be accountable for providing onsite and remote technical support solutions for our customers, while ensuring satisfaction with Microsoft software and solutions.
You will lead in-depth technology discussions articulating the business value of Microsoft solutions. You will drive support-consulting engagements, write technical communications and work effectively with our partners and customers to help make their solutions successful.
Your main focus will be to provide technical knowledge for Azure architecture and Windows Server in Enterprise environments – all supported versions, complex deployments (5000+ users; typically, hundreds of servers).
Your day to day job will be about providing both technical expertise (either on your own or by involving your colleagues) and being an excellent communicator and a service oriented professional.
You will also participate in training sessions, and internal technical events as they become available.
Required Qualifications Include:
Technical proficiency in and learning attitude toward:
Large enterprise Windows Server infrastructure design and deployment, client/server, networking, and Internet technologies fundamentals.
Deep experience on large and very complex Active Directory infrastructures, including (but not limited) the understanding of the following topics works:
Kerberos / FSMO Roles / AD database Replication / SYSVOL / Group Policy
TCP/IP and other protocols including use of troubleshooting tools – scripting, resource kit diagnostic tools and packet sniffers andor NetMon.
Troubleshooting at the expert level within large network environments.
NLB, MS Cluster Server/Multi-vendor Cluster and SAN implementations
Windows Client/Desktop operating system solutions: (Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 Enterprise solutions)
Powershell programming for administering purposes.
MCSA certification (Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012 or Windows 10) and/or Microsoft Specialist in MS Azure are preferred.
Customer service skills, team work, problem-solving skills, good presentation skills, capacity to deal with challenging situations and ability to operate in a flexible team environment with minimal supervision.
Communication Skills – Fluent spoken and written English and Portuguese (including technical writing).
5+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering, software support or IT consulting with Microsoft products in large environments.
The role requires strong personal organization and time management.
Candidates must possess current passport or be able to obtain passport within 30 days of hire.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent’s experience is preferred.
*This position will require onsite presence with customers, flexible working hours and may require travels.
