The Sreenivasan Laboratory at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking applicants for Post-Doctoral Associate position to conduct behavioral, electrophysiological, and or modeling studies of working memory.
Research in the Sreenivasan Laboratory (http://nyuad.nyu.edu/sreenivasan-lab) focuses on the neurobiological mechanisms that constrain working memory ability. Projects involve collaborations with Psychology and Biology faculty at NYUAD as well as Psychology faculty at NYU New York. The neuroimaging facilities at NYUAD include a new 3T Prisma MRI, MEG, EEG, and eye tracking. In addition to supporting the research of the principal investigator, successful candidates will be encouraged to develop independent research projects as part of training for an independent research career.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field and require a strong background in functional MRI and/or electrophysiology. They should possess strong computational skills and have experience with MATLAB, Python, or equivalent programming languages and will have a strong publication record in the field of working memory.
