Position Summary RMS People Operations optimizes people processes, from problem definition to execution. We partner with teams across the global organization to drive an optimal candidate and employee experience in the way we attract, retain, and develop our employees worldwide. As a member of the People Operations team, the People Operations Specialist is an ambassador to candidates and employees with relentless focus on providing an exceptional candidate and employee experience and empowering team members to do the same. You have managed a big project through to completion and can live to tell the tale Essential Job Functions Candidate experience Ensure a smooth candidate experience from application to onboarding by working closely with recruiters, hiring managers and teams. Second line support for all candidate experience related questions, interview scheduling, candidate travel and expense reimbursement as needed, and meet and greet candidates who arrive for interviews Oversee the pre-employment background checks; work with outside vendor for follow-up and questions Interact with prospective new employees, People team and hiring managers to ensure a successful and positive onboarding experience, including management of the on-boarding logistics and documentation May be responsible for the service delivery and continuous improvement of a bundle of people processes, primarily focused on staffing services and contingent labor programs May help support the expansion of our diversity efforts into RMS and develop and drive diversity and inclusion strategies and tactics for the organization Employee experience Ensure a rewarding employee experience with consistent, high-quality, positive, and valuable interactions with the organization in which they work so they may deliver outstanding results. General People Services Respond to inquiries from employees and all other stakeholders to resolve routine HR problems and escalate as needed Respond to inquiries from government entities such as EDD Prepare termination paperwork and work with Business Partners for successful off-boarding Provide support to HR Business Partners in the development and implementation of People solutions, programs, and processes including data gathering, data integration, and basic data analysis. Evaluate, organize, and improve upon People Operations processes and procedures, including new hire onboarding programs, performance management, recognition programs, and offboarding programs Management of vendor requests Support execution of engagement and employee experience programs Coordinate and assist with company-wide People Operations programs and special events Data Maintenance & Administration Process employee set up and status changes including org changes, manager changes, salary changes, transfers, promotions, terminations, and leave of absence Validate data entered by employees or other stakeholders into Workday Work with the HRIS Administrator to audit data, pull reports and load data Assist with internal audits to ensure compliance Be comfortable with data, running and analyzing reports (some ad-hoc) will be a weekly task Manage confidential files and file room Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree with related internship/work experience with 3 years of general HR experience A genuine interest in People Operations and Talent Acquisition Knowledge of HR practices and principles Essential technical skills Excel, Word, PowerPoint Research/sourcing skills with ability to dive into search strategies Ability to understand, communicate and represent the companys values and mission and commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion Knowledge of the contingent workforce landscape with a consulting mindset balancing client needs with compliance requirements Experienced in vendor management allowing you to negotiate the best deals for RMS while selecting the right external partners to allow our programs to scale Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively at multiple levels (i.e. students, hiring managers, HRBPs, senior leadership/executives) Outstanding follow-through, self-directed and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency Maniacal attention to detail, critical thinker, and proven ability to create simple, sustainable, and organized processes Ability to operate effectively and efficiently in both a team environment and as a proactive individual contributor Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality Professional maturity, open to feedback and willing to learn; flexibility with tasks assigned. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working with an HRIS and/or ATS (preferably Workday or Jobvite) preferred but not required Knowledge of EEO, OFCCP, ADA, and employment/immigration laws and practices desired PHR or SPHR certification preferred
