Skill: reports , mis , audit , reporting , finance; Exp: 5-10 years; Driving QBM initiatives at Finance, IT, HR, Materials, Projects Driving daily management, QC circle & Kaizen across organisation Updating and monitoring of the budget MIS, Policy room and project room are updated on a timely basis Development of E learning modules Ensuring Business associates (consultants, experts, visitors and guests) are satisfied on association with CEAT KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Policy deployment in Finance, IT, HR, Materials, Projects Daily Management (DM) implementation across organisation Training of employees to ensure 100 PERCENT participation in Improvement Management Programs Timely release of MIS Timely payments & closer of action logs for external consultants Involvement in Kaizens & QC circle KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Planning & Goal setting Actively support in identifying the improvement objectives based on the meetings with the Management team and cross functional teams Ensure that QBM Matrix is aligned to the Policy goals and the corresponding timelines, expected outcomes and further communicate the same to the respective custodians Mentor & facilitate the QIP in respective functions Participate in the updating and revision of role templates for individuals for effective implementation of the quality objectives Support in the preparation of the annual plan for improvement projects based on the identified objectives and determine milestones for the same through joint meetings with the stakeholders and external consultants Ensure timely approval and release of the annual budgets to undertake the improvement projects (Only for improvement projects) Training and Improvement Initiatives Prepare training calendars (QBM Trainings) and regularly monitor their adherence, in conjunction with the Corporate QBM, Academy teams, external consultants and group-level representatives Ensure the training man-days are completed within the expected timelines and discuss further action items, based on the key observations / concerns shared Conduct the programs on QIP, role template etc Management & Review of Improvement initiatives Conduct reviews to ensure that the all assigned functions are working as per the systems and processes prescribed under the Deming certification program Review the progress of the Improvement initiatives, as required for Deming and other certifications on Business Excellence Review the progress on recommendations from the external consultants and the status of the action taken on the same Periodically discuss the progress of the quality initiatives (Kaizen,TQM) with the respective teams and take suitable action, as required based on the suggestions/grievances shared during these meetings Select and priorities the quality improvement projects to be undertaken and arrange for training to be imparted for the same Periodically review the effectiveness of the improvement projects based on the QBM Matrix and report the key findings/results of such projects Release the MIS on monthly basis at company level Keep the track of budget & related expenditure Compliance, Audit and Reporting Prepare periodic reports on the progress of the Quality initiatives, as required for Deming and other Quality certifications Analyse the effectiveness of the quality improvement projects and report key findings to the Management Team Maintain detailed reports of the recommendations from the external consultants and the status of the action taken on the same Ensure closure of queries raised by the Audit team within the expected TAT Education and Experience Required Education BE/B. Tech from a recognised university and preferably with relevant certifications in the areas of TQM & management Experience 5-10 Years of Experience with minimum 3 years experience in leading Quality improvement projects and respective functions
