This position is responsible for managing EHS of all the projects in the region involving the Line management to achieve Goal Zero (Zero Fatality / LTI) in the region. The position requires effective supervision of the EHS team in all the ongoing projects and their active involvement at different sites to maintain continuous thrust on EHS. Seek continuous support from PCH, Country managers and Corporate for EHS implementation in the region. It involves development and preparation of EHS score of the region of all ongoing projects, EHS monthly reports, Corporate EHS MIS, EHS Management Review presentations, Region EHS Performance and updates to various forums. It requires the ability to analyse EHS performance data and develop key actions for improving MMR and overall EHS score by effective action tracking system. JOB DUTIES Job Summary Responsible for maintaining EHS management system and EHS culture in region. Key Accountabilities Duty Statements EHS Planning & Implementation Ensure all Legal / Local statutory / Client EHS requirements are compiled and updated on regular basis. Keep informed the key concerned stakeholders. Prepare site specific EHS plan for the projects and get approved from Client as and when required by client. Identify critical EHS issues, performance gap, improvement areas and develop strategic EHS objectives, targets and action plans of the region aligned with Corporate EHS guidelines. Coordinate with Line Management to implement Fatality Prevention Plan (FPP) as per corporate guideline at all sites in the region. Coordinate with site safety engineers/ officers of all sites on regular basis and ensure EHS systems are in place without major or recurring deviations and resources are available. Proactively escalates issues as appropriate for effective resolution at the earliest. To assess and manage key risks pertaining to EHS; conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments, JSA, prepare method statement etc. and implement control actions prior to start the job. Support Line management in implementing EHS and sites remain free from major hazards & risks. Visit all the sites as per the pre-defined number of sites/units to ensure the required corporate / legal / unit compliances Incident reporting as per Corporate EHS protocol to concerned authorities; conduct incident investigations & identify CAPA. Involvement in tendering stage for any new projects in the region; prepare and submit the EHS documents as required by the client. EHS Measurement & Monitoring and Reporting Monitor & analyze data, carry out trend analysis, prepare reports (documents, presentations) and report on EHS performance to PCH/ Country Manager and Corporate EHS. Report EHS performance and parameters as required by Client (need based). EHS Audits Conduct EHS audits of sites at interval as per Corporate guidelines and report. Follow up & Facilitate TSV, HSV & RSV to ensure everyone involved in EHS improvement at sites. Follow up all the non-conformities identified through Action Tracker till final closure of all the issues. Conduct EHS scoring of all the sites and report to Corporate EHS for evaluation and assessment to achieve EHS Score > 60 PERCENT compliance. Training & Development Prepare EHS Training Plan for the region and adhere the same. Conduct training programs for the site EHS officers/local recruited EHS members to upgrade their competency so to deliver as per KEC requirements. Ensure mandatory EHS trainings to employees and contractors e.g. LAA, Emergency Preparedness, FA & FF, WAH, Rescue trainings etc. are conducted at all sites at regular intervals. Special Requirements (If any) Experience in working Gulf countries or Jordon will be an added advantage. Essential Travel Frequent (>40 PERCENT ) Qualification 1. B. Tech/B.
