About the Role At Uber Community Support Teams, we are focused in driving process excellence and providing world class support to everyone involved in the Uber experience. We have a highly dedicated and passionate team that supports our community (riders, driver-partners, eats and restaurant owners) on Social Media and we are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our Hyd COE (Center of Excellence) training team who can support this team. This is a multi-faceted that role requires quick thinking and proficiency in classroom training, building and executing on detailed learning plans, and as well as an overall knack for interaction, in-person training and and an understanding of how to analyze the quality and effectiveness of the learning experience. What you will do Scaling social media critical support learning programs in an innovative way Support through content revamp, process improvement and generate team level insights on improving social media support Work cross functionally and regionally with different stakeholders to design, create, deliver innovation learning and performance support solutions to improve CSR learning experience and knowledge retention of our internal and external tools and products Partner with Quality and Operations to triage and conduct solution oriented trainings Identify and provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous support process and policies improvement Own the hyper-local content updates and ensure knowledge checks and assessments to validate learning transfer Modify training programs, as necessary, to ensure consistency with Uber culture and quality standards What you will need Excellent written and verbal communication skills You should be able to inspire, energize, excite, empower, and model what you expect your participants to do Have content and instructional design experience and adult learning solutions You can make sense of complex data sets to find root causes for training/learning issues, and can use this data to identify people who may need retraining or remediation Youre ready for the autonomy that comes with building new things and juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing environment Experience in regular interaction while actively engaging and influencing stakeholder Prior training experience is a plus At Uber we dont just accept differencewe celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our products and our community.
