Responsible for all actions in his/her capacity to ensure completion of the project on time Essential Responsibilities Project Start-up / Execution Phase Develops the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) as the Level 2 integrated EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project control schedule based on contract requirements in cooperation with all involved parties and obtains the participants commitment on a Common Target Schedule. Based on internal targets, develops integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as Level 3 schedule for engineering, procurement and construction scope. Ascertains that the correct scope of work is reflected on the IMS / Level 3 schedule and integrates inter-discipline requirements to establish the best logical work sequences. Supervises and ensures the quality of the schedule coding in line with the Business and Sector procedures. Obtains the internal and external Participants commitment on a common target schedule and secures the IMS frozen Acceptance certificate signed by all relevant participants. Develops and manages the integrated client project schedule as a part of contractual reporting. Formally updates the IMS by collecting all the necessary inputs from participant planners and scope owners. Consolidates the relevant progress and dates provided and analyses the results including the critical path and float evolution to manage any interface issue and eventual delays. Updates the Contract schedule to prepare the planning inputs and contractual reporting for the Client monthly report. Implements a comprehensive Progress Reporting System to provide the Customer, the Project Director/ Leader and Senior management all the necessary planning information (i.e. Target, Actual & Forecast) which is further to be used as a basis for decisions, to maintain the contractual and internal key dates objectives, in a proactive manner. Identifies deviation and potential delays from the Baseline and takes the necessary mitigation actions together with the relevant project team members to recover. Support procurement and engineering team to finalize the suppliers dates in purchase order. E.g. Document list (DL), MHOs (Material Hand Over) & LD milestones. Reviews and approves suppliers schedule and their monthly reports. Oversees and assists the Site Project Planner as well as the various System Time Schedule (STS) Planners for engineering, Procurement, Civil, Construction and other participants as applicable. Ensures that contractual and internal milestones are appropriately shown in the Master Time Schedule for all project phases, by including items such as payment milestones, client inter phase milestones, design freeze, document turnover (DTO), civil turnover to erection (CTO), material handover (MHO) and system turnover packages (TOPs). Regularly reviews and monitors the progress of the project by checking the Engineering Document Module (EDM), supplier reports, the transport arrival on site, the progress on site for civil, erection and commissioning progress. Responsible for the development, review and submission of the project planning reporting as part of the monthly internal and customer reporting Ensures inclusion of contractual requirements during the set-up of the IMS for later follow-up of the commercial issues related to claims, payments, subcontracts, orders, etc. Assists and supports claim preparation with the relevant detailed schedules to substantiate the claims. Provides all relevant financial milestone information and related progress update inputs to the Project Controller to calculate and recognize monthly project revenues. Commits to feedback / Return of Experience and highlights potential improvements to be implemented in the Standard MTS / IMS and in the Tender schedules. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited college preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. hands-on experience with Primavera Project Planner and other similar software. Planning experience of at least 3 projects fully executed including significant site presence. General knowledge of power plant systems. Above average ability in the use of spread sheet, database and presentation software. Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities. Flexibility to work beyond boundaries. Fluency in written & oral English language. Demonstrate Leadership and social competence. Proactive and team player. Objective, clear thinker with decision making abilities.
