Human Resources Technology serves a diverse array of needs for Human Resources Business. The HR Compensations team is part of Human Resources Rewards organization. We work closely with the business to provide cutting-edge technology products for managing Morgan Stanley?s compensations, promotions and compensation communication. Position Description Senior Java Developer (Associate) to help engineer data integration solution for the Firm?s compensation system being built on Beqom Total Compensation platform, leveraging Microsoft Azure PaaS / SaaS / IoT solution. This role requires strong experience with Java/J2EE, Rest/API and JSON. The role will also be responsible for supporting existing Java-based systems Qualifications Qualifications ? Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., engineering, science, statistics, math) or equivalent combination of education, training, certification and experience ? 6 years of experience with developing with Java and J2EE technologies Skills required ? Strong Java/J2EE programming skills ? Experience with Spring technologies ? Experience building SOAP, REST, XML, Web services APIs ? Front-end development using HTML5, JSP, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX Skills desired ? Perl, Unix/Linux scripting ? EXTJS and or Angular JS ? Cloud computing experience ? Experience with NoSQL database (e.g. MongoDB) ? Experience using Git, Maven, Jenkins, Apache Camel, Swagger ? Experience with HR/Compensation system
