Collaborates with subject matter experts, creative personnel, script writers and technical writers to ensure instructional integrity and impact Constantly applies traditional learning and development principles to current and emerging instructional strategies (problem based learning, flipped classroom, eLearning, microlearning) and media Conducts quality control checks of content AFTER design, development and production of eLearning, media products and Instructor-Led Training (ILT) solutions (PowerPoints, Facilitator Guides and Participant Workbooks) Job Qualifications Education/Experience Masters degree in Instructional Design/Development, Psychology, Education, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in in job/task analysis using Instructional Systems Development (ISD) methodology. A Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant work experience might be considered in lieu of education. Competency and Skills Business Development Interfaces directly with the internal or external customer, identifying the customers needs and the best way to meet training goals. Able to identify opportunity for future training needs, communicating the potential to the project manager, account manager or business development manager (BDM). Professional Demonstrates an excellent command of the English language, able to communicate complex information in basic terms. Edits or rewrites copy as necessary, and submits to others involved in the project for review and/or approval. Is detail oriented in both their approach and execution of work. Ability to manage multiple projects according to strict deadlines with tight turnarounds. Technical/Functional Competencies Demonstrated experience in developing training objectives, training courses, quizzes and tests, multimedia materials, and Computer Based Training (CBT) is required. Stays abreast of latest trends in learning and development.
