Analyzes, installs, acquires, modifies and supports operating systems, database or utilities software. supports, conducts and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Analyzes, designs, acquires and implements projects for LAN and/or WAN systems. Plans, designs, acquires and implements telecommunications voice/wire systems. At higher job levels, may contribute to the development, testing, evaluation or design of system or infrastructure architecture used throughout the IT solution set. Updates customers and others on status of support issues via ticket updates in an ITSM tool such as ServiceNow. Job Requirements – Good oral and written communication skills.- Ability to work collaboratively with other Information Systems Engineering team members aligned with support level expectations; ability to work independently as well.- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to support them in a customer-facing environment. – Ability to follow standard ITIL support principles and processes.- Creative approach to problem solving and troubleshooting.- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with competing deadlines. – Must have knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages Java, C , Javascript, PL/SQL, UI / UX Development using HTML / CSS. Working knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ITSM support tools. Responsibility and InteractionResponsibility – The types of tasks this individual is responsible are a mix of structured and unstructured tasks. This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems. Interaction – This individual interacts primarily with Staff to Director level employees within the function, and the technical team on assigned projects. There may be communication with employees in other functions as required.- General direction is provided on routine work, and detailed direction is provided on new projects and assignments; as well as on-going review of activities and priorities. Education Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
