The STS team is made up of cyber security thought leaders, who are accountable for the provision of a global set of cyber security services and products in order to maintain and continuously improve Banks cyber security posture in todays ever evolving cyber security landscape. The STS team protect the Bank from cyber security threats by delivering effective information security technology services, managing and responding to security incidents to ensure, and support the continuity and growth of Banks business operations; and meet the both internal and external stakeholders expectations across 70 countries and territories, in which SCB operates. As part of the Security Transformation activities within SCB, a new role within Cyber Defence Centre (CDC) is being created. This requires a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Professional in the area of information and cyber security. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for performing the 24×7 Cyber threat response(Tier-1) operations. Responsible to perform Cyber threat response for security events. Responsible to provide inputs to develop, maintain andcontinuouslyimprove the Security event monitoring & Cyber security incident response processes and playbooks. Responsible to share the lessons learned from cyber threat responses Responsible to perform security incident identification, timely containment, investigation and remediation. Ensure compliance to SLA, process adherence and provide inputs for process improvisation to achieve operational objectives. Responsible to triage, analyse and provide response to MSS related incidents. Coordinate the response measures for cyber security incidents with the relevant stakeholders to foster collaborative working environment. Train and mentor junior analysts via knowledge transition and on jobtraining. KEY STAKEHOLDERS Security Technology Services Service Managers (Heads), Service Operations Managers Business Functions COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS) 5 years or more experience in Information and Cyber Security technology, preferably from Banking industry Comprehensive knowledge of cyber security monitoring and response programs in complex organizations Good understanding of the current cyber threat landscape, latest threats and vulnerabilities. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong team leader skills. Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the organisations goal. Exudes confidence and will roll-up his/her sleeves to drive success Able to get things done in a quick-paced environment. Be transparent and open around what doesnt work and what does. Excellent communication skills oral, written and presentation; technical reporting writing across various types of target audiences. Good working knowledge of software application Outlook (advance), Word (advance), Powerpoint (advance), Excel (advance) Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent
