Significant wealth is being created from the growing affluent and emerging affluent population, opening up huge opportunities in areas such as wealth management, personal consumption, payment products, insurance etc Job Purpose The India Business Transformation Head will lead the cross franchise transformation efforts by driving execution of our strategic priorities as we transform the consumer bank to lead whats next and become a future compatible competitor. Driving growth while simplifying our business model, radically digitizing the business and improving profitability are key priorities. This role will help in building a culture of unrelenting performance and execution discipline, drive productivity and reengineering opportunities, and reallocate resources for the desired transformation. A key part of the role will be to lead the technology transformation in progress The individual will also work with the Regional Business Transformation Head on regional initiatives and have exposure to and support the overall business strategy for Asia consumer as we significantly digitize the business and drive scale and improvement in operating efficiency and returns The role will also be responsible for driving initiatives across multiple workstreams, including partnering with key country/regional stakeholders across business functions, products, Operations (Core Operations, Collections, Citiphone, etc) and other areas (Technology, Digital, Data Management, etc). Key Responsibilities Champion the transformation agenda and execution roadmap for India Business Transformation in close alignment to the 2020 strategy Manage and co-ordinate activity with stakeholders in all aspects of the business; including interaction with the Consumer Business Managers, Operations & Technology Management team and Regional/Global counterparts where required Drive high quality design and implementation of new operating model for the business, and associated processes and procedures Develop and implement relevant operating model, process and technology changes in order to pivot the organization towards digitization Own the benefits management process across all workstreams to track progress towards delivering the programs objectives Drive engagement and participation of seniors across key work streams, programs and teams including developing, cascading and managing metrics to align seniors on priorities Monitor efficiency and drive productivity saves and re-engineering within the operations units and track actions through to resolution PMO activities including work-plan creation and tracking, reporting, escalation of risks and issues and presentation to management Qualifications Incumbent Specification Knowledge/Experience/Technical skills 12 years experience, include leading and executing impactful change programs Track record of successful execution capabilities with successful history leading organizational transformation and change management efforts with strong process and project management experience Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or Engineering with further qualifications considered a plus Experience of working in a process driven environment especially in the area of digital, operations and technology Strong financial aptitude coupled with proven quantitative, analytical and strategic planning skills Attention to detail is paramount Personal Skills Exceptional leadership, consultative, relationship management, negotiation and communication skills Intelligent self-starter with resilience and resourcefulness A strong influencer; track record of success influencing the decision and opinions of others Demonstrated strength in detailed financial and data analysis including highly proficient in Excel and Power Point Excellent organizational and project management skills Strategic mindset to integrate business strategy into all communications, designs and execution Track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently Primary Location APAC-IND-MH-Mumbai Job Category Project and Program Management Schedule Full-time Education Level Master’s Degree Shift Day Job Employee Status Regular Travel Yes, 50 PERCENT of the Time
