TTPM ProjectLead Job Description Position Summary Project Lead is responsible to lead and execute the successful delivery of projects. This resource needs to be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, familiar with governing disruptive technologies, managing multiple vendors, contractors and technology disciplines, while communicating to both business and technology resources. Roles and Responsibilities Ensure that projects follow the project schedule & execution task. Prepare and effectively communicate appropriate reports and updates to management Facilitate the resolution of issues and escalate issues to project stakeholders as required Ensure all appropriate documentation, requirements, design and test specifications and other required deliverables are created and reviewed/approved by external and internal stakeholders Achieve project milestones through regular cross-functional project meetings to review schedule, status, issues and to ensure conflict resolution and risk mitigation Manage project scope and document scope changes in order to obtain approval for incremental costs prior to performing work Strong client facing skills and an acute understanding of consulting. Be able to construct a migration planning workbook, detailing Excel, MS Project, MS Visio and resource details for each individual installation event, as a guideline to follow for migration success. Manage all aspects of the project implementations including project rollouts, resource tracking, schedule development, cross discipline coordination and communications. Understanding of project management methodology (e.g. PMBOK, Prince2) Provide consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing project analyses to stakeholders relating to tracking progress through implementation hardware and software life cycles. Successful experience in utilizing project management methodologies, best practices and processes Be responsible for ensuring successful execution of the defined project scope Ability to lead project teams in a highly matrix environment Demonstrated experience implementing new technologies Follow transition process to hand-off support to Support team after rollout Strong process improvement focus and best practice knowledge Understanding and functioning of manage service IT Projects. Well versed of Migration Methodology and Tools Deliver projects on time, on budget, in scope with high quality, including Development and execution of project plan and all related tasks. Conducts project kick off, closures and post mortems Completion of Pre-live and Post-Live checklists Cross-functional team management (multiple towers) Formal risk assessments and mitigations Follows the change management process Internal status meetings and reporting (tracking timeline, cost, scope) Follow transition process to hand-off support to Support team after rollout Creative negotiation and conflict management skills Issue and escalation management Strong process improvement focus and best practice knowledge Knowledge of PMI methodology and its implementation.
