Summary Analyzes, tests and maintains HR systems activities associated with employee information and reports. Provides additional clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Manager and department. Responsibilities Researches, analyzes and maintains information system related human resources administration and projects. Monitors information needs to meet changing requirements. Serves as liaison with information systems staff in resolving programming and related problems. Provides support and guidance relating to business systems e.g. SAP, Perseus, Knowledge Pathways, Softscape and other site HR systems. Works with HR team to conduct analysis of business system process improvements. Acts as HR functional project team lead for Plant HR strategic initiatives. Evaluates and make recommendations on the implementation of business process improvements to identify efficiencies attainable through business process refinement. Understands country and site labor laws and regulatory/governmental compliance requirements. Performs periodic audits of HR Systems to ensure system credibility and data integrity. Audits Unemployment claims monthly. SOX, Affirmative Action, ISO and other compliance audits. Works with site HR Reps to resolve data integrity issues where appropriate. Assists in driving data integrity across the site through auditing and reconciling database content. Supports leadership development specialists for the site. Assists with cross functional global initiativesdevelopment of project plans, communications, and status updates. Oversees and administers employee benefit programs including determining eligibility, enrolling employees, and their dependents in the plans, and maintaining proper documentation. Processes and audits healthcare claims and bills. Maintains employee files, records, and change of status. Responsible for administration of COBRA and 401K third party vendor software maintenance and ensure data integrity. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements 3 or more years of experience in HR or a related area. Education Requirement Bachelor’s Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required. Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual will be required to sit and/or remain stationary for extended periods of time. Individual will be required to type and/or operate a computer and other office productivity machinery for extended periods of time. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and/or documents; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and/or extensive reading. The person in this position may need to occasionally walk or otherwise traverse, stand, exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects, bend, reach, kneel, and/or twist for minimal periods of time. Employees should not attempt to lift, pull or push a load in excess of 50 lbs. without assistance. Care should always be taken when lifting, pushing or pulling in an awkward position.
