Skill: accounting , expense management , legal , tax , ifrs , account reconciliation , gaap , commerce , advanced excel , chartered accountant , erp , business management; Exp: 10-13 years; Global Expense Operations Manager Requisition ID 212621 The Global Expense Operations Manager is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operational executions of the T&E and Relocation expense processing, including all sub-process areas, within the agreed upon policies, assignment conditions and service timelines. The position performs work volume management, resource planning, and ad hoc requests with the team supervisor and team leads to ensure optimum and equitable work allocation to maximize productivity. Ensure team adherence to office times, rules and protocols. Serve as the point of contact for the team and other office locations, departments, and internal/external stakeholders for the fulfillment of job requirements and delivery of services. Also, serve as the point of contact for clients, vendors, banking personnel, and auditors as required. The manager provides oversight and performs varied professional accounting or financial work requiring the standardized application of well-established Corporate Policies and Management Instructions, principles, concepts, and practices. Oversee decisions concerning work processes and people. Develop sound, practical solutions to a wide range of accounting, financial, tax problems apart from the core process area knowledge. Requires regular use of resourcefulness and independent judgment to assist management or the team to solve complex problems. Responsible for ensuring that work is performed with technical accuracy, adequacy of professional judgment, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Ensure process deliverables, accounting concepts, team goals and objectives, policies, procedures, and techniques are available for day-to-day application. Facilitate, manage, and maintain the timeliness of the process deliverables, including KPIs, as per the internally/externally agreed service levels and timelines. Ensure process adherence to the Global Corporate Policies, procedures, and Management Instructions relating to T&E and Relocation processing. Manage the supervisor, leads, and analysts/processors with the objective of integrating the individuals strengths optimally and facilitate an environment of learning, development, and growth while upholding the values and covenants of the organization. Other responsibilities include measuring and managing the teams performance by providing adequate training, mentoring and feedback sessions, and taking corrective measures to enhance team productivity. Manage individual goals/performance throughout the year to ensure alignment with team goals and objectives. Complete comprehensive performance appraisals and reviews of the team within the established timelines. Assist the Global Manager and process owners in goal setting and aligning the daily operations to strive towards the overall BBS and company-wide goals. Provide budget staffing plan feedback to Global Manager. Support process change management and initiatives for the team. Also, support the internal and external audits and developing internal controls to mitigate process gaps if required. Basic Qualification Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Economics, or Accounting 10 years work experience with an understanding of business travel & relocation expense processing, account reconciliation, and customer service 3 years management experience Experience with expense management tools and ERP financial applications, preferably Concur and Oracle Must have legal right to work in India without sponsorship Utilize effective change leadership skills to catapult service delivery beyond customer expectations. Excellent interpersonal skills; active listener and effective communicator across all levels of the organization, cultures, and mediums Agile leader, with quick evaluation to assess skills needs, and adaptability Preferred Qualifications Masters Degree in Commerce/Business Management Analyzing and problem solving techniques as applied to accounting or tax areas.
