The team is responsible for delivering FTC Pillar 2 agenda set out by PC senior management to build a control focussed independent, challenging and standardized Review & Analytics team in Chennai. Your Role Controls & Governance o Produce and present Fully Loaded Monthly Business Review packs to PC Leads Escalate anomalies and challenge status quo o Inform Signoff, Balance Sheet and P&L analysis and deep dives o Monitor Daily Product Control KPIs and report to PC SMT o Front run Global PC Controls agenda across regions and asset classes Regulatory o IFRS13 o IFRS9 o FAS157 o FINREP Others o Miscellaneous MI o Driving efficiency through automation, consolidation and standardisation o FX attestations o EUDA Coordinate, Review and Challenge inconsistencies o Cost of Income allocations using business approved models – Coordination and collaboration with FO and business managers to constantly review and improve allocation processes o Adhocs Essential Skills Strong control awareness and mindset A confident and articulate self-starter with the ability to cope with the demands of working to tight deadlines Open to changes in ever changing controls and infrastructural demographics; Analysis/Problem solving experience Self managed and an organized individual with good time management, prioritizing tasks and able to meet deadlines consistently is the key Understanding of P&L attribution and Balance Sheet composition of IB Desirable Skills Challenging and inquisitive Delivery focused, able to drive a process forward and engineer process when needed Expertise in technical aspects of financial products and accounting About Us Barclays is a transatlantic consumer, corporate and investment bank offering products and services across personal, corporate and investment banking, credit cards and wealth management, with a strong presence in our two home markets of the UK and the US.
