Global Supplier Services Organization (GSS) has embarked on a holistic transformational journey in order to achieve operational and financial excellence by delivering hard cost impact saves to LOBs bottom-line, enhancing client experience and providing transparency in all third party vendor Sourcing deals, while securing long term sustainability and profitability of the company by reducing Non Comp Expenses (NCE). In order to support this overarching objective, we have created a GSS Supplier Expense Management Program (SEM) that will be part of the Global Supplier Services Excellence goal as communicated by the Chief Procurement Officer.
The GSS SEM Team member based in Bangalore will join the Global Sourcing org led by the Head of Sourcing EMEA. In this position, the successful candidate will assist with driving transparency around GSS delivered saves, liaising with LOB partners Finance team and facilitating the successful implementation of automated reporting capabilities for Sourcing Managers across the region. The position entails management and development of staff of 2-3 junior analysts
Key Responsibilities include:
Understand all aspects of active and planned Sourcing deals and assist Sourcing Category Managers in translating ‘Negotiated Savings’ into Hard Cost Impact that are approved and recognized by LOB Finance/ Expense Management
Partner with LOB Business partners and Finance teams to gather financial data points and volumes for accurate calculation of Hard Cost Impact for completed deals
Prepare reporting templates and presentation decks for semi annual working sessions with LOBs and Category Managers to discuss and approved Hard Cost Impact delivered by GSS
Assist in preparing materials for NCE Steer Co and Quarterly reviews with internal LOB Clients and VMO/ Finance teams to report on GSS SEM Program
Participate in discussions with GSS Tech Finance teams to automate LOB financial reporting requirements in GSS 360 and/ Ariba on Demand. Test developed POCs (Dashboard and other reporting views) for accuracy and provide insights into improving these from a LOB perspective
Perform detailed audit analysis on select deals to monitor and track Hard Reductions materializing in Actuals
Skills / Experience required:
7+ Years of Professional experience in financial services or in financial analysis capacity
Proven Project Management, planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize deliverables
Proactive and creative approach to problem solving and the ability to utilise management and peer relationships to get work done
Good analytical skills with a pragmatic 80/20 approach and can articulate strong hypothesis driven recommendations. Can take the lead on decisive creative solutions for resolving issues
Ability to develop robust business cases and financial templates for GSS wide Cost Impact reporting
Ability to understand and fully leverage GSS systems quickly and effectively like SPARC, Ariba on Demand, GSS 360 etc
Excellent communication, facilitation (workshops) and influencing skills with the ability to build strong partnerships at all levels within the organisation
Ability to develop and prepare executive level presentations
Strong team player with effective coaching, training and mentoring skills. Demonstrated commitment to personal/people development and staff management
Ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise a large number of conflicting and frequently changing priorities
Strong IT skills including MS Excel modelling and PowerPoint Presentations
