We are looking for
Senior Development Managers with hands-on experience of coding,
debugging, performance tuning and testing skills in full stack development:
C/C++, Java, HTML5, JS, PHP, XML, Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture.
Qualifications:
Possess B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or related/equivalent field
Full stack development experience would be preferable
Possess
15+ years of previous software engineering or related experience
required; Cloud products development experience is a strong plus.
Experience
of coding, debugging, performance tuning and testing skills in one or
more of the following: C/C++, Java, HTML5, JS, PHP, XML, Web Services, Service
Oriented Architecture.
Ability to excel under pressure
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
Demonstrate technical understanding of direct area of responsibility
Possess significant domain expertise in the business area of development
Possess experience in implementing projects using good project management concepts
Deliver consistently projects on time and with a high degree of quality
Manage the product development lifecycle and processes
Articulate clearly solutions to business problems within one or more domain areas
Possess
previous experience in other disciplines (i.e. Support, Quality
Assurance, Product Management, etc.) or extensive cross-functional team
involvement
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills

Primary responsibilities:
Meet division and/or product family release dates and follow release processes
Provide early warning of issues and recommend corrective actions
Optimize functional and organizational priorities in development plans
Improve product quality by improving processes
Provide detailed subject matter direction to team
Interact with external customers/suppliers without supervision
Assist customers to be successful in the use of Oracle product
Drive improvements to defined processes and standards
Analyze and provide tactical solutions to complex problems
Deliver results that meet or exceed expectations
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
Manage assigned project tasks effectively, completing deliverables on time with quality
Report on research results of features, concepts, and functionality of application product
Submit all administrative work, internal and external, on time
Demonstrate an understanding of legal and contract issues
Manage team of engineers (3-15 employees) for a small to moderate size product / product area
Mentor employees
Provide technical and functional guidance to team members
Recommend employment actions (i.e. hiring, compensation, promotions and terminations to the next level manager)
Facilitate career development and professional growth of staff
Administer Company policies that directly affects staff
Promote cross-functional teamwork to achieve overall Oracle objectives
Demonstrate good presentation skills
